Thursday Thirteen, No. 2

Thirteen Things I Like About Me!
(in no particular order)
There was a challenge for this week's edition to come up with 13 things we like aboutourselves. While not the easiest thing in the world, I'm glad I did it... I might just print out the list and post it somewhere I can see it, so I can remember.
  1. My family
  2. I'm good at taking tests
  3. I know about sports (and NOT "for a girl.")
  4. I can learn a song well enough to sing along after listening just a couple times
  5. My singing voice (it could be better, but that's not the subject today)
  6. I'm a fast reader
  7. My knowledge of movie lines, gained from a college job at Blockbuster and too much time in front of the television.
  8. My waist to hip ratio (not my measurements, necessarily, but again, that's another week)
  9. My eye color (green)
  10. I can usually figure out electronic devices
  11. My toenail polish (OPI Cha-Ching Cherry)
  12. I'm a relatively fast typist
  13. My good looking husband!

I would be more comfy listing things I don't particularly care for about me...but your list reminds me there are a number of things I do like. I can't remember movie lines at all though!

Happy TT

oooh I love OPI polish! Great list, I did it, too although it was hard LOL!

I completely forgot I was going to do the "what I like about me" challenge, but maybe next time. Several of yours would be on my list, too -- like #3 and #6. I'm terrible at #7 though! ;)

They were good things! Once when I was feeling really down the only thing I liked about me was my husband =P

This is a cool list! I can usually sing along after a few times through the song, too. So can my kids. Dh has OTHER talents, I guess ;-)

Glad that you took the challenge, I think it is good to remember the things you like about yourself. Wish I hadn't chosen a different topic this week.

Yep good list - family always important. I love to sing and I'm not really that good at it. Goes without saying my husband's good looking too. It is always interesting to see what we have in common.

It's nice knowing someone who likes herself. I hope Denise has been challenged. (Lol).

I'll have to look for that polish color next at the salon. :)

It can really be a challenge to list the things you like about yourself but I think you did wonderfully! It's usually by stepping into this kind of challenge that we grow a bit. :)

Thanks for bopping by Snarkypants and for putting me on your blogroll just for the nifty name alone! Have a great Thursday!

See it at http://mommy-inc.blogspot.com/2006/09/thursday-thirteen-11.html.

Polish color sounds fun!

I wish I could read fast, but I think it has to do with how the book is. If it's a good book it's no problem, but with my text books it takes me sooo long. Very nice to meet you! :)

I'm a fast reader too! Thx for reminding me...nice list!

I also took the challenge. As a Siamese, it was difficult to limit myself...

Great list! I almost included toenail polish in mine, but couldn't remember the name of the color! And my answer to #10 is to give the offending appliance to my husband or teen nephews. If they're not around, I use a hammer. Happy TT!

Great list. I don't know much about sports, but I do know a lot about cars, and not just for a girl (I should have put that on my list), it's a nice feeling isn't it?
